LATAM NEW COMMERCIAL MANAGER OF BRUKER VISITS MELISA INSTITUTE

 

MELISA Institute received the new director Octavio Arrellin, Commercial Manager for Latin America of Bruker Daltonics. He was accompanied by Luis Santos, Commercial Manager for Brazil and Roberto Méndez, Application Specialist.

In 2018 Bruker and MELISA Institute began an institutional relationship after the acquisition of a timsTOF Pro mass spectrometer. This equipment is the first one operating in Latin America for life sciences and allows for the massive analysis of proteins under bottom up and top down proteomics methodologies.

Through this acquisition, MELISA strengthened its analytical capacity focusing on proteogenomic research.
