MELISA Institute participated in the first Think&Connect event, an initiative that brought together various stakeholders involved in innovation and development, from both industry and academia.

In this first session, ASMAR presented some of its main challenges for the future, addressing everything from the development of a shipyard in line with current technologies to the management and treatment of its waste, with a focus on moving towards a more sustainable and self-sufficient shipyard.

The event was organized by Vicente Hernández, coordinator of Conecta E+i at Universidad del Desarrollo (UDD), and also incorporated a fun and collaborative activity designed to strengthen connections, the exchange of ideas, and participation between both sectors.

For MELISA Institute, these spaces represent an opportunity to connect scientific and technological capabilities with concrete industry challenges, fostering new conversations and opportunities for collaboration.
